Warship miners have role buffs that increase mining efficiency and tractor speed. The two lines of miners offer different stats, one is more agile while the other has a lower cooldown for its mining laser. They are armed with a mining laser, which deals a very small amount of damage, but can instantly break away multiple chunks of ore with a hit. Miners are ships used typically for mining, though they can also be used for baiting other players. They are not armed when you first build them but they have 4 modular turret slots. However, with the support of other ships, these ships are glass cannons and can easily be destroyed with a well placed beam or a flak platform.Ĭorvettes are ships that are used to combat large ships such as other corvettes. The main combat philosophy around these ships revolves around "if they can't hit you, you can't die". These ships are typically used for fast travel and deployment(due to their increased warp speed), combat dogfighting (due to their high speeds and maneuverability), and tackling (keeping enemies disrupted while reinforcements arrive). Interceptors are small and agile ships, with firepower and health inferior to other classes of ships. They can be used as expendable tackle ships, throwaway scout ships, and much more.
These ships can pack a good punch, while being cheap, quick to manufacture, and having many options for customization. Fighters are some of the smallest and most varied in Starscape, being used as starter ships, but also having important roles in larger fleet composition.
